If you engage more than one agency, you are detracting from the uniqueness of your property and thus devaluing it in the public eye.Potential buyers may become confused if they see the same property advertised by different agents with different descriptions and different prices.Potential buyers may also become irritated if they are approached by several agencies at the same time trying to sell them the same property.Both can have a very negative effect on the perception of the buyer toward your property and you may never get a first viewing. However, agreeing to an exclusive contract does not mean that your property handled only by one agent.At Engel & Völkers we will agree a marketing plan with you, which may include notifying other named agents that the property is on the market.However, the collaboration will be between Engel & Völkers and the other agent(s).
